Safety, Performance, Fit & Style

All Motordrive seats are FIA homologated, UK manufactured and are available with custom fit to make sure that we offer a seat that is perfect for you – whatever your shape and size.

When choosing a seat it is vital that you choose a model that fits you or you will not be comfortable and may not be safe.

Want to buy now or seek advice? You can complete our online contact form or simply call us so we can talk through your requirements. Our team is highly experienced in motorsport and seat safety.

Want to see us in person and sit in our seats? You can visit us in Leyland for a hands on comprehensive seat fitting  or perhaps call in at one of our dealers if you are unable to reach us in person.

Want a truly personal seat? The personalisation doesn’t stop with the fit. We offer a range of coloured finishes, both on the shell and on the cover and cushions, and we offer embroidery of names and logos on covers; you can see examples of our ‘art work’ on the customer gallery  and embroidery page.

All seats come in three shell fabrications:-

Composite: – mainly fibre glass with some elements of composite material to give extra strength. This is a quality seat that will perform well at all levels.

Hybrid: – carbon/kevlar and 30% stiffer than the equivalent composite seat. You have much more feedback through your backside to feel what the car is doing, therefore enabling you to set your car up more accurately. The kevlar seat is also lighter than the equivalent composite seat.

Carbon: – full carbon and 15% stiffer again than the equivalent Kevlar seat and 45% stiffer than the equivalent composite seat. Gives total feedback as to how the car is behaving, enabling the driver to achieve optimum set-up. The Motordrive carbon seat shells are lightweight with a quality finish and offered at market leading prices.

* Prices quoted are before tax and carriage.  The Pro, Race and Endurance Seats are homologated to the FIA 8855-1999 standard which allows a seat life of 5 years from the end of the year of manufacture (so 6 years if bought in January) plus a further 2 years extension subject to inspection.  Whilst regulations allow, Motordrive offer the 2 year re-certification service and at the time of writing are the only seat manufacturer to do so.
