Simpson’s Hybrid Series is designed for easily exiting the car without the danger of being entangled in other gear. Simpson Head and Neck restraints offer the lowest profile of any comparable device. Plus, they provide you with maximum comfort and manoeuvrability. These can be bought from Motordrive in many sizes and with quick release posts. Made to measure also available. FIA homologated but with no expiry date and so an investment worth making.

The FIA approved Simpson Hybrid system is the only frontal head restraint (FHR) on the market that not only protects during frontal impacts but gives some protection on certain side impacts, but side impacts are ultimately best protected against with a wraparound seat.
The evolution of the Hybrid Pro Rage technology and design has led the way for 2014’s introduction of the high performance Hybrid Sport which promises the racer an improved product, at the same price range as the Pro Rage. The Hybrid Sport is now much lighter, weighing in at 20% less for the large size, including the hardware, the DuPont carbon/polymer construction is sleek, modern and appealing with defined wings for seatbelt containment.
The sliding tethers and patent pending multi-tether system enhances side to side range of movement and field of vision. The Hybrid Sport is both SFI 38.1 and FIA certified.
The Simpson Hybrid Sport is supplied ready to fit existing HANS posts, but as an optional extra the M61 quick release system can be fitted.
